Squishy purple and pink toy dinosaur containing multi-coloured balls
Hazard
The product presents a risk of choking because the tail detached with minimal force, creating small parts which fit entirely within a small parts cylinder. These small parts pose a choking risk to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in the mouth.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The local authority is requiring the recall of the product from end users by Samsons Cash and Carry Ltd.
