Product description
A large folding electric bike with wall plug for charging
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire because the electric bike and its components have not been assessed using the relevant UK conformity assessment procedures and there is no technical documentation or evidence of production control. There is also a risk of foreseeable misuse due to the lack of warnings and instructions on the product. The product was also provided with a plug that does not conform to BS 1363 because it is two-pin and has no fuse link. A suitable adaptor was not provided.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.

The import has been rejected at the border
