Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire because the copper wire within the cable can fray. This may cause localised overheating and fire during normal use.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
Dunelm have initiated a cable replacement programme.
If your product has the barcode and batch numbers specified, stop using it immediately and contact Dunelm on 0333 234 0870 to claim a free replacement cable. Alternatively, return the blanket and cable to your nearest Dunelm for a full refund.
