The product presents a high risk of electric shock because it has inadequate cord anchorage. This means live parts may be exposed or be put under unnecessary strain during use. This could lead to the product becoming live. If the consumer touches the live parts they are at risk of receiving an electric shock. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
