Towel warmer with RTD-23A on the front panel
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of electric shock as it has poor-quality internal soldering, including wires soldered directly to the PCB. The top plate of the product is also insufficiently earthed. This means that if a wire becomes dislodged, the entire product may become live and shock the user. Improvements are also required to product labelling and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
