Product description
An electric baby rocking chair bouncer with a remote and a black 3-pin AC adapter
Hazard
The product presents a high risk of fire as the supplied adapter does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. This means it cannot make a secure connection to the socket, which may lead to the adapter overheating and catching fire. There is also no safety fusible resistor protection, and the internal mains wiring is not adequately secured. The breakdown isolation between the input and output circuits does not meet insulation requirements. In the event of a fault or flashover, these issues mean the product is likely to overheat, leading to a fire. Improvements are also required to product documentation and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
