Socket extension with cabling in a reel.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of fire as the creepage and clearance distances are insufficient. The live and neutral pins are also too short and close to the periphery of the plug. This could lead to the plug failing to make a secure connection with the socket, overheating and/or exploding. Improvements are also required to product documentation and marking.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs and Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
