Game with red rope and eighteen wooden pieces decorated with pictures of food. These pieces are intended to thread onto the red rope.
Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of choking as there is a wooden ball on the end of the red rope, which could loosen over time and detach from the string. This small part poses a choking hazard to young children, particularly those under 36 months of age who have a natural tendency to explore objects by placing them in their mouths. The red rope also presents a strangulation hazard, as it is longer than the maximum permissible length and a child could become entangled in it during play. Improvements are also required to product labelling and documentation.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The import has been rejected at the border.
