Product description
Bicycle wheels for road bikes. The products were sold either as parts of a complete bicycle or as individual components via online retailers or specialist shops. This recall only affects products with carbon fibre composite rims and a DT Swiss ID number of 2740000 or higher.
Hazard
The product presents a risk of injuries as the outer carbon layers of the bicycle wheels can delaminate during use. This structural weakening may cause the wheel rim to fail, leading to falls and injuries.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
