Auto-tracking stand with wireless charging capability. The model number can be located on the back or side of the Belkin device. Only the MMA008 model is affected.
Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as the lithium-ion batteries can overheat whilst in use. This can lead to localised smoking, melting and/or a risk of fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users. Consumers should stop using the product immediately and complete the recall form on the Belkin website to receive a full refund or replacement.
Owners should dispose of the product safely via their local household waste disposal site. Consumers should check first with their local centre if they accept this type of battery.
