Hazard
The product presents a serious chemical risk as the nickel content is greater than the maximum permissible limit. Nickel is a skin sensitiser and can cause allergic reactions if present in products that come into direct and prolonged contact with the skin. The product does not meet the requirements of the REACH Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users. Owners of the product are advised to stop using them and return them to the nearest ASDA, where a full refund will be given. A receipt is not required. No other colours are affected by the recall.
