Hazard
The product has inadequate safety guarding around the moving parts at the rear of the machine. The machine user could access these moving parts, leading to a risk of entrapment and/or crushing or impact injury.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
HSE has instructed the manufacturer, AFM Europe Ltd, not to supply any further machines until they can ensure that the machines conform to the applicable Essential Health and Safety Requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
